There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let's Keep It A secret.

Expect nothing like before with Bring Me The Horizon's new album, There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let's Keep It A secret. Bring Me's 2010 release is unimaginably good. Like seriously. They have come back with, in my opinion, a new sound which is easier to listen to. I love Bring Me's old music, especially songs such as Pray For Plagues and Diamonds Aren't Forever, the screaming from Oli Sykes has always been unbelievable. And, although he doesn't have a clean voice like The Devil Wear'sPrada's screamer Mike Hranica, i always felt they had a real edge. Their new album just proves they do. I really think this album introduces a totally new sound from the respected five-piece band, who have featured a female solo artist known as Lights on two of the album's songs. These songs, Don't Go and Crucify Me are two of the best on the album, 1) because they are unlike anything that Bring Me have previously done and 2) Lights has a stunning voice, which is a brilliant contrast to Sykes' screaming. Oli himself even attempts some singing in the song Blessed With A Curse, which is probably my favourite track on the album. You can hear the emotion in his voice, as he sings the angry, hateful lyrics Bring Me are known for writing. Drummer Matt Nicholls shows off his talent in this album, beating those drums with brilliant repercussions. Bring Me have come up complete trumps with this new album, managing to intertwine their dirty, angry sound that's so popular with their old fans with a new emotional core which gives the songs a deeper meaning. 5/5 for a banging album.
